OJSC “Metropolitan Insurance Group” (OJSC «MIG») has now become the holder of 100% shares in OJSC “Moscow Re”.

In June 2010 Federal Antimonopoly Service granted a motion of OJSC «MIG» concerning their purchase of Moscow Reinsurance Company voting share.

On August 27th OJSC «MIG» took up 100% of the shares of Moscow Re the owner of which had before been CJSC «Insurance Group».
As previously reported, this step was taken by the Group for the purpose of asset consolidation and in order to simplify the possession structure within the holding.
For the moment OJSC «MIG» directs the holding which includes the following companies - MSK IG (OJSC), OJSC «IG Spasskie Vorota», OJSC “Moscow Re”, CJSC «MSK-Life», CJSC «Sovita».
